Q: What should I do if I need my water turned off?
A: Use your household shutoff, if you have one (usually located near the foundation of your home). If you do not have a household shutoff, Sunriver Water recommends you have one installed. You can also contact Sunriver Water at 541-593-4197 to request your meter be turned on or off (Monday - Friday, 7:00 am – 3:00 pm). There is a service fee of $40.00 per hour that will apply.
Q: What if I need my meter turned off after hours?
A: We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There is an after-hours fee of $80.00 per hour that will apply. The after-hours phone number is 541-419-6469.
Q: Can I turn my own meter off?
A: No. Only authorized personnel are allowed to operate utility appurtenances.
Q: What should I do if I experience a sewer backup in my home?
A: During normal business hours (Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:00 pm) call 541-593-4197. Office staff will dispatch sewer personnel to investigate. After hours please call 541-419-6469 and our on-call staff will come and investigate.
